Finding the Power of Cultural Communication in the Universal Values of Our Lives

This year is JiChou, the Year of the Ox. In traditional Korean society, an ox was regarded the most useful and important domestic animal used for farming. Korean farmers regarded cows as one of their family. In contrast, cows were nothing more than animals that would provide meat in the West, where most of the cows raised were beef cattle. In this sense, the kind of emotions that Koreans have toward cows is definitely different from that of Westerners. Artistic director of the Asian Youth Orchestra visits the HCAC Information Center

On March 18, Artistic Director Richard Pontzious of the AYO, which has a history of 20 years, visited Korea.
